THE STORY

The concept of I Am You was born over five years ago.
The inspiration for the name comes from the oneness of all things. This universe, this earth, this endless creation and the connectedness of it all, and the connection between all of us that exist within this endless creation.

I have many hopes and dreams for what I Am You will grow to be, but for now, I Am You captures and offers Art and creativity, and my occasional thoughts on all of the above and more.

I truly became aware of the oneness of all things when I began to practice yoga and meditation over four years ago.
The peace and clarity that these practices bring lead me back to me, and in that, I rediscovered my creativity.

The natural world is my great teacher, I see metaphors for every aspect of human and all life, in her wisdom.
The fractal patterns and mathematics woven throughout this universe, from the swirl of a hurricane to the swirl of our DNA.

Every aspect of Mother Nature showing us the connection in a million different ways leads me to imitate this in the mandalas I am called to bring into existence.

The oneness of the beings existing within this fascinating place, how our souls are captured as a human body, how we all have our unique ways of being but we all be, just the same.
Individual expressions within the non-dual.

I have an ability to capture and express the soul through my art. My purest and raw creation comes from the soul, mine and yours. To be able to see you, really see you and create you in a way that is not conventional, not even recognizable as you to anybody else, but you will see you inside my art because I have seen you.

With respect and awe of who we are, where we are and how we came to be.
With the trust and knowing that we are undeniably connected to each other and the universe in which we exist, with the honor for expression and creation. I create, for you, for me, for us, to form a new connection.

With love,
Charlie x
